The
Adamstown Fire Company Relief Association has had its application for
assistance under the Volunteer Fire Assistance Program approved for the
amount of $7,389.00. VFA is a matching grant program where they provided
50% of the funds for our grant project. The complete project cost was
$14,778.00. The funds will be used for six complete sets of Personal
Protective Gear.

The 10th Round of the Federal
Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program administered by the US
Department of Homeland Security, Office for Domestic Preparedness was
announced today. The Adamstown Fire Co. received $33,400.00 for
Fire Operations and Firefighter Safety, our 2nd FEMA Grant. In this
Grant program they provide 95% of the funds for the project. The
complete project cost was $35,200.00.The Department will be
installing an automatic vehicle exhaust extraction system.
