The iFrame hosting means that I'll create a small page that you install into your existing Yahoo!Group. If you can copy and paste, you can make this work!

Here are the steps to getting a hosted WebRings page

  1. Complete the form below (if you do not know the U#, leave it blank and I'll find it)
  2. Wait for a confirmation email that will contain the "official" URL for the location of your WebRings
  3. Copy the HTML from the text box and insert it into your Y!Groups description
  4. Replace the word INFORMATION in the above URL with the combination that is provided in the email
  5. Change the registered URL using Edit URL Settings (the new URL is the same one being used as your iFrame!)
Please note that if you remove the iFrame call, the WebRing memberships will be suspended or terminated.

Installing the iFrame into your Group
  1. Be logged into your Yahoo!ID then go to the homepage for the Group you are trying to register
  2. In the left column, click the link for "Management" at the bottom
  3. Under "Group Settings", select "Description and Appearance"
  4. Click the "edit" link just after the word "Description"
  5. Paste the copied iFrame code, then save.
You may have to make some adjustments to the width and/or height attributes for proper layout, just be sure not to shrink the box so small that it cannot be properly viewed.
