In May, 2003 WebRing created a system enhancement that allows all users to customize their profiles. It's very flexible in that almost all HTML and even JavaScript is permitted. It's so easy that this page won't contain much information; it doesn't need to! If you can hand-code HTML files, you can create a stunning profile! (Need help with HTML? See the HTML & Website Help WebRing) For those who can create pages through editors but not do all coding by hand, you can also upload a profile page that you created. Because you can use HTML or JavaScript in these profiles, your profile page can join WebRings, just like your personal website (perhaps even easier!) In addition you can upload a profile image of 25K or less and place it on your profile page. To do it, simply use replacement tag --profimage--. That tag will parse into the FULL COMMAND needed to display the image you choose. You need not use anything but that tag! |
