Gravity Feed paint cups for a Badger 360 Universal airbrush.
I have been using a Badger 360 Universal for a few years now and I love it. It is a great airbrush, but it has 1 drawback. Because the head is made to swivel so that it can be used in a gravity feed mode or a siphon feed mode the design has what must be the smallest gravity feed paint cup of any airbrush

Then the other Day I saw Badger's newest offering. The Patriot 105 gravity feed airbrush with a 1/3 oz color cup. After looking at it and reading the spec's I learned its pretty much a gravity feed Badger 155, or Badger 360 in permanat gravity feed mode.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was I could really use a larger color cup for my 360 in gravity feed mode with caps, now how can I do it with what I have laying around.
Items Needed for project.
1. Plastic color cups. I choose 2 old testors side feed cups an 8 cc (.27 oz) and an 2.55 cc(.01 oz)
2. Some siphon tubing, either some extra you have on hand or some scavenged from a siphon cap assembly.
3. Some 2 part Epoxy, and some thick superglue.
4. A drill and drillbit that is the same size as your tubing, I used an 11/64 sized bit I think.
Assembling your Gravity feed cups.
Step 1: Cut the side feed tubes off the sides of your testor's cup (if using something else modify accordingly)
Step 2: Again this is Specific to the testors cups. take the two halfs apart and superglue them together with the bottom feed hole closed and allow to dry.
Step 3: Take your drill and carefully drill through the middle of the bottom of each cup.
Step 4: Cut your siphon feed to the lenght you need and place into each cup with the top of the siphon tube level with the bottom inside the cup, and apply 2 part epoxy around the outside of the siphon tube to cement into place. be sure to get all the way around the tube to prevent any leaks.
And there you have it. 2 gravity feed color cups with lids for your Badger 360 Universal. The 360 is already designed to accept siphon tubes so I don't know if this will work with any other gravity feed airbrushs, but I kinda doubt it.
