My
stash when it all comes
out of the closet's.
My own personal little stash.
Its not too big yet as I've
only got around 50 kits.
But keep in mind I've only
been at it for a year or
so. I am also not a "kit
Collector" keeping
kits unopened for years.
Almost as soon as I get
a kit that puppy is opened
so I can take a good look
at the directions and the
parts. Although lately I've
had a tendency to leave
the inner bags sealed.
One
thing I've learned, is that
kits can cost money. Esp
at a hobby store, and although
I do buy the occasional
kit at my fav hobby store
or find some on sale at
discount prices elsewhere,
I buy a lot of my kits on
e-bay. If you have patience
you can get kits there for
less than half the hobby
store price (including shipping).
So far my best deals are
a Pro-Modeler Ju-88 A-4
for $13.60 (total includes
shipping) and a Tamiya M8
Grayhound armored car for
$18. And almost all of the
old cars and truck have
been purchashed on the clearance
racks for $5.00 or so.
