| Hear it again or hear it for the first time -- that blend of brass, reeds and rhythm. Vocals sing out the words to arrangements of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, the Dorsey Brothers and new renditions of songs of today and yesterday. Since 1968, The Bob Troxell Big, Big Jazz Band has delighted audiences' young and old alike in the Central Pennsylvania region. Its purpose has been -- entertainment -- through the music that the talented guys and girls in the band love. And since it is a labor of love (no one gets paid), our proceeds make it possible to help many Lancaster area service organizations raise money through the band's appearances at fund raising events. We've made more than 300 appearances at functions such as: ... and more The Bob Troxell Band is professional, dependable, and - flexible. For occasions that do not call for a big, big band, we suggest the "Dixieland Connection", or the "Cool Jazz Connection", which are made up of select members from the big band. Each is prepared with music specific to your occasion. If you're planning a party, a dance, a charity ball... we'd be pleased if you would consider us.
