Links to Amateur Radio Resources

Lancaster Radio Transmitting Society Lancaster's primary HF radio club since 1939.  Successor to the Lancaster Radio Association chartered in 1922 by the ARRL.  LRTS now operates several repeaters from their Cornwall Mountain club site.

Red Rose Repeater Association  City of Lancaster repeater club with a repeater on the Lancaster General Hospital.

Ephrata Area Repeater Society Operates repeaters from the Ephrata Mountain with good area coverage.  The long running Lancaster County Emergency Net is on their 145.450 mHz FM repeater at 2100 local time Monday night.  This net started after WWII with converted SCR522s and operated on a surplus crystal frequency around 146.8 mHz.

Mt. Airy VHF Radio Club (Packrats) VHF/UHF group with members concentrated in southeastern PA and southern NJ. Leaders in technical development and activity on the VHF/UHF bands.  Many links to Amateur Radio resources.

Southern Pennsylvania AmateurRadio Club   supports RACES and other communications with repeaters on their site in Rapho Township.  The SPARC education program provides regular VE testing sessions and training programs for prospective Amateurs.
