December 6, 2011 Tuesday
2 - 4 pm (This walk was rained out the past two weeks.)
Egelman's Park. The trail is only a little bad at first, and
there are some interesting plants around the pond, including Leatherwood.
Approach by Mineral Springs Rd. from the west and turn left at the end
of the viaduct or by the same road (but called Howard Avenue) and turn
right just before the viaduct. Follow Glen Rd. to the top and turn
left on Hill Rd. to get to the park. (Or from the north use Hill
Rd. from Antietam Lake.) I'll let you know on Tuesday morning whether
the walk is going or is cancelled by rain. Those not on the email list
use the phone number below.
