We would like to thank everybody who helped to make this year's Cartwheelathon a success.
The total amount that was raised was $21,378. One individual was able to obtain matching funds for Ronald McDonald House (which
is included in our total). With the matching funds, $8,000 went directly to Ronald McDonald House. The rest of the money
went to Abigail's fund.
The children performed over 20,000 cartwheels! Emily Moran brought in the largest amount of
donations totalling $950. Emily presented the check to the Butz family on Friday 12/22 at the gym (see pictures below).
We would like to thank Stef Kieffer for chairing the fund raiser and for making media contacts.
Mrs. Harting and Mrs. Painter spoke on camera to News 11. And many other parents counted carwheels, registered children,
and helped in other areas to help make the Cartwheelathon a success. And of course the children did an outstanding job.
