News:

Most of 2012 is past, and some memories and pictures remain.

The year began with a January trip to Denver for the Memorial Service for Fran Yehle, Judy's brother's wife. Peggy, Doug, Ellie, Steven and I all attended.

March 23 – April 24, I took an extended trip to Florida for a baseball Elderhostel with the Red Sox and Twins in Fort Myers. It also included a visit there with Jim Bohn, a first cousin.

Two week ends of the trip were spent with Ted, Andrea and Noah in Sarasota. Again in late May I took quick trip there for Noah’s graduation from New College of Florida.

The trip included an overnight with Monique Robinson and her husband, in Ft. Lauderdale. Monique live with us as an exchange student from Sweden for the '80-'81 school year.

And then a birding trip in southern Florida with the Partnership for International Birding.

The relatively small group included Bob Gobeille, Suzanne and Lynn Yehle. Bob and Suzanne are shown here.

Lynn is shown here. Can you tell which one?

Adele spent a week with me in August and we attended the Union County Rural Heritage Days. She rode in a pony cart driven by her friend Martha, helped make some rope, and is shown here visiting some of the animals

I spent a week in August with Ed, Ell, and Adele in Quebec City. Adele, Ell, and I pose at the falls near Quebec.

Columbus Day Parade in Woonsocket, RI. Adele has recently joined a Fife and Drum Corp and this was her first parade.

In November I took the train from Erie (after leaving Gwendolyn there) to Chicago for a quick visit with Steven and Laura and on to Austin, Texas. I spent Thanksgiving there with Ted, Andrea, and Noah. Noah is now a graduate student in a program in "Computational Science, Engineering and Mathematics" at the University of Texas.

On the way home I stopped in Erie, PA, to visit with Peg and Doug. The picture is from summer 2011.
